By accessing or using Tourist Traps ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Nature of the Service

Tourist Traps provides AI-generated analysis of publicly available reviews to help users evaluate restaurants, bars, attractions, and other places. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Disclaimer of Accuracy

Scores and analyses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not accurately reflect the quality or value of any place. AI models can produce errors, biases, or outdated information. Specifically:

• Scores are based on a snapshot of reviews available at the time of analysis and may not reflect recent changes.
• The AI may misinterpret reviews, miss important context, or weigh certain factors differently than you would.
• Review data comes from third-party platforms that may contain fake, biased, or unverified reviews.
• A high or low score does not guarantee a corresponding experience.

No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide professional, financial, or safety advice. You should not rely solely on our scores when making decisions about where to eat, stay, or visit. Always exercise your own judgment and consider multiple sources of information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tourist Traps and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to poor dining experiences, financial losses, or missed opportunities.

Intellectual Property

The Tourist Traps name, logo, and original content are the property of their respective owners. Review data displayed in the Service is sourced from third-party platforms and belongs to those platforms and their users.

Fair Use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Automated scraping, bulk analysis requests, or using the Service to harm businesses is prohibited.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Tourist Traps offers Trap Check Pro, an auto-renewing subscription that gives you unlimited analyses and access to all paid features. Subscription terms:

• Title: Trap Check Pro.
• Length: 1 month, billed monthly.
• Price: $8.99 per month (USD; equivalent local pricing may apply in other regions).
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the same price each month unless you cancel. For subscriptions purchased through the iOS app (Apple App Store), payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, with the renewal charge applied within 24 hours prior to the period end. For subscriptions purchased on the web, payment is processed by Stripe and renews at the start of each billing period unless canceled beforehand.
• Managing and canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. If you subscribed through the iOS app, manage or cancel in your device's App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. If you subscribed on the web, manage or cancel through the billing portal, available via the "Manage subscription" option in your account. In either case, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Tourist Traps also offers one-time credit packs (Starter, Trip, and Explorer). Credit packs are a one-time purchase, do not auto-renew, and the credits never expire. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the policies of the platform through which you purchased.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
